did ICE hurt you?
As a Truth & Documentary intern, I filmed and edited this scene from Albany Park Theater Project’s Port of Entry, an immersive piece exploring the impact of deportation on immigrant families. Shot alongside Ben Kolak, this clip is part of a larger project documenting Chicago’s response to shifting immigration policies.
Metropolis Coffee
Winner of Best Spot at the IBA Student Silver Dome Awards, this 30-second piece highlights Metropolis Coffee Company in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. I crafted the script and visuals to reflect the café’s warm, community-centered vibe—celebrating loyal regulars while welcoming new faces to connect and recharge.
Loyola Orientation Experience
Created an orientation video for Loyola University's Student Academic Services division, giving incoming students a first look at campus life, resources, and navigating Chicago. Managed the project from concept to final edit, producing a student-centered experience that reached nearly 9,000 incoming students.
Faith in Flight
“Faith in Flight” is a short profile I produced in my graduate reporting class at Loyola University Chicago. The piece follows Moriah, an American Airlines pilot, and explores how her faith shows up in the cockpit, in moments of uncertainty, and throughout her daily work. It highlights her path into aviation, the realities of being one of the few women of color in the flight deck, and how she lives out her faith beyond church walls and into her profession.
My Way or YAHWEH
As Creative Director for Kulture & Convo, I co-directed, scripted, and developed the shot list for the My Way or Yahweh Encounter promotional video. Shot and edited by Jermaine Studwell, the piece garnered over 12K views across all social platforms. This project not only marked my first on-set production experience but also became the defining moment when I fully envisioned pursuing my passion for storytelling and creative direction.
